Ah, a Wizard-world show that's not ten hours away! Kevin Smith would be there and I wanted to get a copy of my movie in his hands. Besides that, I missed Megacon this year so I'm down on my convention quota.
I hopped in my vehicle and ignored all the speed limits. Unfortunately, my car needs a new thermostat because it overheats at high speeds, so I had to drive with the heat on. The whole way. And it was like 70 degrees out.
I ignored all that. The drive was a breeze right up until I hit PA. Then there was traffic. Roadwork. Stoppage. Car overheating with the heater blowing full heat on me without the benefit of wind coming in the window.
Fast forward to me getting into Philadelphia. I took a wrong turn and ended up near Temple University. The wrong part of town, let me tell you.
Finally I get to the convention center. I can't find parking. I say screw it and pull into a lot that's $20 a day. My car will be outside the whole time, and I think maybe someone will do me a favor and steal it.
