EMPYRE COMICS
Pittsburgh
Comic-Con

I made plans late in the game for the Pittsburgh Comic-con. I had two buddies who were supposed to go with me. I had a room at the Red Roof Inn and would be getting a ride down with one of my alleged buddies.

What's that about the best-laid plans?

Both buddies dropped out days before the trip. I was going to drive my I'm-dying-for-a-tune-up car into Pittsburgh on my own.

It was a nice drive until I stopped at the rest station and found out that I'd forgotten to replace the cap on my engine after adding oil that morning. Everything under the hood was covered with black oil. Luckily my cap with embedded into the cushion on the underside of my hood, or I'd have been big-time screwed.

I got to Munroeville(the site of the comic-con) in about four hours. Once you get in the city, there's no street signs. I mean no street signs. I got lucky and found the Con and met up with Rich "Timespell" Henn and his crew and helped them unload.

Then I shot over to see what Tim Vigil and Darrell Donald were up to, besides procrastinating on Broken Halos. As you can see in the picture below, Tim Vigil looks over jealously at something Tim Tyler drew.

And Tim, you owe me a naked Harley Quinn sketch! I know where you live, so get to work.
